Aviva Premiership – Round 13

On 6 minutes Saracens drove their way over the line. JP Doyle said it was held up however he awarded the penalty try as Stooke collapsed the maul. Saracens extended their lead with 2 Alex Goode penalties but James Hook hit 2 of his own to keep the deficit 7 points. Richard Wigglesworth box kicked into the arms Jonny May. May it took it into contact and Robson picked up and went blind. He then chipped Billy Vunipola, outpaced Wigglesworth and grounded the ball superbly in the corner. JP Doyle called for TMO but there was no problem and the try was awarded.

Billy Vunipola drove his way over the line early on in the second half to extend Saracens lead. Ben Morgan then had to be replaced with what looked like a broken leg. After Hook had struck a penalty May caught the kickoff. He made a burst then offloaded to Hibbard. Richard Hibbard then flicked it on the Evans. Gareth Evans burst through 3 tackles then offloaded to Callum Braley who finished off one of the tries of the season so far!!!! It was then bad news for Nick Wood who was stretchered off the field with a suspected neck injury. Mako Vunipola peeled of the back of a maul and stretched out and over so both Vunipola brothers had a try. On 79 minutes Ben Ransom hacked threw and Ashton chased it. He gathered and scored. As the clock turned red, JP Doyle disallowed the try! He came back for the penalty as Ashton was offside. James Hook called for the tee and Kingsholm fell silent… He struck it sensationally and it sailed over!!!!!! Gloucester left it late but they beat Saracens in surely the game of the season.
